Cecek Records: Polička is a magic Czech town. It is from this town the gothic rock band „Výsměch?“ comes from. The band has prepared eight songs including two remixes. If I could say something about this music, I would say that it is on the edge of gothic rock, post punk and alternative rock. There is a feeling of Joy Division, The Sisters Of Mercy, The Cure, or Czech legend XIII. Století in their music. The songs are longer, more structured and include the addition of a female singer who sings in English. The synthesiser and dark atmosphere are not missing. CD is has been produced as a massive 8 pages full colour digipack. It includes lyrics of all the songs and specific graphic arrangements. If you would like to award the quality, just know that music is opposite to the name which defines the band “Výsměch?” – “mockery”.
